New JK Stubby Bumper from ARB

Just came out, I'm sure retailers will get them soon. You could always order from ARB direct I'm sure. As for me, I've been in the market for a stubby bumper. I have a Poison Spyder rear bumper/carrier and wanted to get the Poison Spyder front to match. But I'm not feeling the looks of their front bumpers. I'm not too concerned on the bumpers not matching anyways cuz you can't really see them both at the same time, plus I got the rear/carrier before ARB released their carrier.

Here's some info on their bumper...

Here is a pic of the bumper on the ARB Jeep that was at the Northridge 4x4 Open House back in July.

By the way, if anyone local to WA is in the market for a full face bumper, I have the ARB bumper.

If interested, we can talk price.

I heard the 10th anniversary Rubicon may have a stubby pumper.

I wonder if this is it?

EDIT: HAHA on my typo. I'm going to leave it for everyone to get a laugh.

I really like full width bumpers but the price and the fact that it comes with a winch mount is very interesting.

Some sort of lost...
I think the Poison spyder stubby looks soooo much better personally. Plus it has fog light holes.
I guess the winch sits a little lower in the arb but I'd take the poison spyder any day myself.

Only thing I don't like is the stinger coming off the Poison Spyder bumper. I hate the look of stingers(but I understand their purpose) and for the kind of offroading I do, it's not needed. I also don't like that you gotta pay even more on top of the bumper already to have it powder coated. Just drives cost up even more.

I like this bumper buo question the strength of the recovery points and the bar as it appears that it is welded to the top plate as opposed to extending through it and/or having reinforcement of any kind. Thoughts???

The recovery points extend through the face of the bumper and are welded/part of the chassis mount. This gives you the strongest recovery point mount possible without welding the actual recovery point directly to the Jeep chassis itself.

I like the ARB Bumper, but I've been doing more thinking...I really want to keep my fogs. They help a lot for street driving. Haven't really found any nice street legal fogs to take the place of the stock ones if I were to run the ARB stubby.
