Just got this very rare CUCV Dually. It weighs 6.000lbs plus the trailer . definitely not a thing you would want to do with your standard P38 Range Rover.

CUCVs are cool. I've dreamed about turning one into an around town truck or an off road truck.

Swap out the transfer case, put a turbo on the 6.2, lift, modify the bed/shorten the chassis, big tires, armor, and go!

Its an NP208. I mean, its fine, but there isn't that much aftermarket available for it. Either build a chevy 205 but then you start getting into used Atlas price territory. Might as well cut the crap.

It'll never break behind that motor and I'm pretty sure this model has a 205.

I pulled it 65 miles @70 mph without issue on 33" tires and stock gearing. 133K miles on the 4.6L

What did you do to upgrade? I am interested in similar modifications for my Rover, it would be nice to comfortably tow a car on a flatbed behind it
