That is sweet! I can't wait to get one of those myself. That's exactly the one I'd want.

I'm looking forward to breaking it in shortly!

Nice purchase , one question though. Is there a particular reason you didn't opt for the biggest portable? The price difference is so minute.

The distributor couldn't get me the 50 L model for some time. The cooler I had been using before was a 40L thermo electric cooler so I figured the same size without needing ice would more than suffice. Time will tell if I made the right decision. I feel this size has plenty of room for 2 to 4 people for 3 to 4 days unsupported, which is plenty enough for me. I will just have to be diligent with drink rotation to optimize space.

The weekend trip to Pennsylvania is quickly approaching. I had my truck looked at, as I had no time to do the work myself.

Turns out my power steering pump was leaking, causing my steering issues, all fixed.

They also changed all the spark plugs to NGK (apparently the Bosch I had in there before are not that good, dont remember the exact part no.).

They had been done 2 years/30,000 miles ago, so maybe a little premature but its the first step to solving the misfire issue. They said that the wires and the rotor/cap all looked good. These guys also do my work fleet so I trust them not to screw me around or risk losing 4 vehicles of business not just the Xterra.

We head out bright and early friday morning, back to this....

Good to know about the power steering leak. Did you replace the hoses and clamps and the pump ot just the hoses and clamps? That is next on my to-do list. The NGK just work in our trucks it is like they were designed around them.

I didnt know about the NGK or I would have bought them last time. I only drove it a mile back to my office but I could already feel a difference, little smoother, especially at idle.

It was the actual pump that was bad and leaking, so the whole pump was changed.

Good you got the truck sorted out before the the big trip. Your last trip looked like it was fun so I"m sure you will enjoy it and take lots of cooool pics. I couldn't finish my car in time for this long weekend but i will for sure for the next.

Oil Change done
Tire rotate done
Rigid dually's realigned
Evap solenoid done

The Evap solenoid was maybe the easiest thing I have ever done on any vehicle, ever.

Xterra is all loaded and ready to head south first thing in the morning!

Which trails are you running this time? We'll be up in Bald Eagle this weekend also. Mostly a fishing trip this time but maybe a trail or two. I'll keep an eye out for the Xterra.
