I know some might think that 40's on an "overlanding" rig to be a little counter intuitive, but the purpose of my build was to have a truck I could drive to and from the Rubicon, out to Moab, up to the Sierras, tow my camping trailer, park the trailer and explore explore explore without fear of ever getting broke down, stuck and lost. I have so far accomplished what I set out to do. In the past year, the truck has taken me and my family of 5 up to the snow in the Sierra's and halfway down the Sea of Cortez in Baja. Only issues along the way were one flat tire, and a loose body mount!.
Been a labor of love for the past 36 months as I plan, build and swear. About a year ago I started documenting the entire build over on youtube and that has proven popular. Thought I would post up here as I kinda span two worlds. I have the typical off road rig, but I use it for more of the overlanding stuff too.
