Swiss Army Nozzle for NATO/Wedco Fuel Containers?

I'm trying to locate a Swiss-style nozzle for my Wedcos. I have a cheap Far-East knockoff of the stainless version shown below, but I would prefer the longer reach and superior vent tube design of the Swiss model. I erred in judgement and didn't buy one when Swiss Army Vehicles had them in stock.

If you find a source... please share. I had one of the cheezy made in china nozzles as well. I got PO'd with it the first time I used it and chucked it in the trash after it finished leaking fuel all over the back of the Jeep, Me and the garage floor.

I have the MIC nozzle, and I have found that it doesn't leak if you are careful to keep pressure on the bottom. Still a total PITA, but better than leaking.

I am tempted to try a thicker gasket to see if that will fix it.

I have a wedco nozzle which doesn't leak but the downside is the very tip is a plastic POS that broke after less than a dozen uses! Why is it American's make crap and us American consumers are willing to put up with it?!?!

Good news! I emailed the folks at Pinzgauer.com a couple of days ago.

They replied today and said they have the Swiss nozzles back in stock for $25:

I noticed that they also have cans with an estimated availability of "end of May 09" for $15/1 or $50/4. In today's market, that's a screaming deal.

Thank You for that tip. I caught them before they went home for the evening and reserved my order for the cans.

Now, do i have to have Swiss specific nozzles or are all NATO can nozzles interchangable?

Here's the word from someone on a landcruiser forum:
Yes the long Swiss nozzle has a good vent tube and it dose fit in the nato cans. I have one that I soldered the end of one of the cheap nozzles on so it fits my unleaded neck, and I think it will drain a nato can as fast or faster than most station pumps without spilling a drop! When we add fuel on runs everyone waits for my nozzle its such a pleasure to use.

My Mog came with the Swiss nozzle and I think it is the most well thought out piece of kit ever.My question is will it fit a modern vehicle's fuel filler port?
My Mogs fuel filler port is about 3 inches across and truthfully, you don't need to use the nozzle, you can pour a Jerry can straight in without a problem.
I normally use a funnel with a long reach to fill regular vehicles from my Jerry cans because I don't think my Swiss nozzle will fit a modern unleaded filler.

For anyone who may be interested, I found a site called Hummer Hub that has both Wedco cans and spouts.

Hummer Hub

Also, Expedition Exchange still has Wedco fuel cans in stock.
