WOW- that life boat had to push the hell out of the Rangie in roundabouts.

Roundabouts were taken slow and carefully. TBH the V8 Auto in the RRC had the power available but there were other complications. As is always the case ;) But it's nice to know the RR could manage it :)

Not on par with the other LR Series in this thread, I know. It does have a lot to be done to it to make it "expedition worthy," but it's in beautiful shape for how old it is.

to much plastic

I've seen this D2 and actually there is not too much plastic on it other than the stock fender flares, side mirrors, door strips, rear bumper and perhaps the lens cover on the PIAA lights.

The rock sliders, QT diff guard, Safety Devices roof rack and ARB front bumper are steel. And the limb risers and Southdown snorkel are stainless steel.
