Can someone talk to me about my 1985 FJ60. Having some issues with accerator bar under hood. Connects from firewall to carburator. Thanks, Holmes

Offroaders, I am new to this site, and it looks like a good one. I took my 1985 Land crusier FJ60 out today for a drive and I am having a problem with it. The accelerator bar located under the hood keeps coming out. It is a bar with two balls on either end. I took pictures of the problem, and was wondering if someone could talk to me about this or look at my pictures. Thank you, Alan Holmes
