Possible first purchase - found a 1981 FJ47 in the pickup configuration

Thank you guys. I was looking over at Ih8mud and someone has a series of photos of where the Libyan rebels have been mounting anti aircraft and missiles to this truck. :Wow1: And here I was actually researching to see how it would do with a camper, lol...

Possible first purchase - found a 1981 FJ47 in the pickup configuration

No problem. I did find youtube videos of the fj47 in action so it appears to be a distinct model number. The more I think about it and look at it, the more I want it. The rust situation seems decent. Some surface spots. EDIT - Further study has led me to conclude that this is a FJ47 "UTE"...

Ex-Officio Mens Give-n-go boxer briefs: a brief review

This was a bit of my doing. I was going to post a review but found this thread and decided to add it onto here rather than starting a new thread, even though it was resurrecting a nearly one year old thread.

Ex-Officio Mens Give-n-go boxer briefs: a brief review

I spent the summer testing these out. I've been on the road since June 1st, only had 2 weeks at home. I haven't been offroading but I've been travelling with the full intention of having no more than a backpack of clothing for everything since June and it's worked. I bought 3 pairs of the Ex...

    Forester: ExPo Subaru Project

Really appreciating this build. In a weather year like this I put 7k miles on my car per month easily and when it's my dime and my mileage tax deductions, 2-3 mpg adds up fast. I've been trying to figure out for a couple months which way to go and this looks like the perfect vehicle.
