I already drag around 2 EZUP 10x10's now to the races and beach trips. This might be a cool free standing addition in lieu of a tent set up. I would weight the legs and guy it out.

I did read and look. I just want to know if a springbar canvas tent is good foe beach camping on sand and wind.. Try as I may reading searching the forum etc.. I have not got a clear answer from someone who knows. The OP wrote about an off road tour. Seemed like a good time to ask.

I'm an off roader too and considering a spring bar for a base camp tent.. Days at a time on Baja beaches year round.. I want the canvas and quick set up.. Good idea or not on the spring bar?

I'm doing the 1971 VW Bus route. Capable off road (like a big baja bug) a set of Maxtrax sand boards. Rebuilt motor, trans and renewed stock suspension brakes axles dual batteries and a complete spare parts supply on board. Sleeps 2 and runs all day at 65 mph on low quality fuel..
