Holy smokes kirk I can't believe we are having this conversation. have you lost your mind. I get that you are tired of fooling with the four runner, but a rover is never the answer. Please just go back to a newer 4door tacoma and be happy again.
Thank you. If you look close you can see the quick disconnect for the winch just above and to the left. I ran one to the rear bumper also so I can move the winch to were it is needed most.
I am having some trouble loading pics so I just linked some for now.

I have been needing a snorkel for a while now since I almost drown the engine a few times this spring in about 5ft of water. since no one makes one for my truck a was going to have to either modify one or fabricate one. the price quote I got to fab one out of 3.5 in exhaust pipe was going to be...
A few months ago I did replace the front and rear factory bumpers with some used ranch hand ones that I got used off craigslist for about $500. I also added a CB with a firestick antenna. I installed a job box for a tool box and added a 20lb fire extinguisher and full size shovel. I ran welding...
Hello portal members. I felt it was time to post a build log for my new to me truck. I sold the 2007 tacoma due to a growing family and our life going in a new direction. what we bought was a 2008 Ford F-250 Superduty. Its a crew cab long bed and it is 4x4. It is also the gas 5.4 it had 70,000...
I do understand 1.5 times your weight pulling power, but don't u get double your pull rating( 10k now becomes 20k) with running a snatch block which puts you in your 1.5 times weight of your vehicle. Is a warn 16.5 for 4 $1700 really necessary? I am glad to hear that there is some sucess with...
why not run the zenon 10k with a snatch block? I am considering this because mine is a receiver set up for front and rear and weight is a concern for me.
chara likes her CRV, course she did have a civic before that. Its no offroader but will drive dirt roads fine and does well in snow/rain/ice. Just drive it around town and save the four runner for the weekends. she is start'n to get kirk! haha! miss ur face.
The thing I noticed most going from a 2007 Xcab tacoma to a 2008 crewcab F250 is gas milage dropped a lot . which seems like common sense, but it has limited the amount of trips and wheeling we do more than the size of the rig has.
