    FTS 750 build

"Finished" is a loose term, getting to the usable stage Ha Ha, getting to the evolution stage seems soooo far away !

    FTS 750 build

Never though about the tanks freezing, not really an issue in OZ, but I do want to go to the Victorian High Country, I put them there because there is plenty of room there and keeps the centre of gravity down low. Getting the engineering done was surprisingly easy, I used Judengineering in...

    FTS 750 build

An update on the worlds slowest expedition truck build, after much scrimping and saving, I have managed to get my super singles, VASS engineering approval, a roadworthy certificate and been to VicRoads and managed to get my truck registered. I am still working on the accommodation cabin in the...

    NPR Build out

I good start is to go collect some large cardboard boxes and mock up your fit out, gives you a chance to walk around amongst it.

Planning a 8m (26ft) 2-level build on a Isuzu FTR. Importing the truck from Japan. Good or Bad idea?

Like many a project, it has hit the wall of "lack of time and money", but still persisting , just going a lot slower now.

There were a few extra long wheelbase FTS's around when I was looking for mine, a bit harder to find, but out there. there will be plenty of times that you will need the four wheel drive bit.

    FTS 750 build

Thought that I might give an update on my FTS750 project.. Other than using my entire budget up on buying the truck and van, I got very little done trying to work on this thing under a carport, the weather never lined up with opportunity to work on it, either too windy or too hot, ( it gets very...

    Isuzu FTS700 'Wicked Turtle'

They don't normally come with rear shockers, are you planning on fitting some ? One of my designs for fitting the body to my FTS750 was to hinge the front like yours, but put air springs on the back, giving the ability to adjust the height and travel of the body, anyhoo, I didn't go through...

    Fuso vs larger truck

I concur, that is why I am using an FTS750 , one size bigger and can carry a heavier payload easier, nice and "analogue" without the complexity of the big Euros.

    MAN TGM OFF ROAD HOME

My first thought every time I see those inflation systems, they look so vulnerable. Cool truck.

    Cabin Mounts

I picked up some of these at an auction, needed some for my project truck, but I had to get the whole pallet of them, cost me a fortune, anyhoo, I have a bunch of them to sell. "Megi-Cone 786 030" high quality German made cabin mounts, $100 each, I am using these as well as the sprung mounts to...

    Auction Buy

Suspension Seat Isuzu NPS crew Cab

I just pick up a second hand ISRI suspension seat for the passenger side of my FTS off ebay for a couple of hundred bucks, wondering if I should get it re-stuffed (for want of a better term) or just stick it in and put nice covers on the seats.

    FTS 750 build

Haven't done much in the last six months, time and money the usual issue, look forward to seeing your project up and running Beardinc.
