Another vote for the tiregate. It doesn't connect to the bumper but does swing away and can mount out or inboard.

A few pics. The hardest i have run in the Dodge is Martinez Canyon in the Florence Junction area of Arizona. The luge near the end was tight. The rest of the rock gardens and boulder fields were nothing to sneeze at either.

It seems you have to host them on a site like webshots or photobucket in order for them to show up in the post. Apparently if you use expedition portal as the host the pics show as a file to be clicked on. I had the same problem.

I have only lurked on the site so far but this is my rig. Not unlike most of the trucks, it's a work in progress. It never seems to end.:)
