The Nevada Trophy NVTR 2013 is here. Scheduled for October 18-20. Once again it will be run in the Northern Nevada Desert east of Reno NV. Please contact the event organizer if you want to get involved, they are looking for event volunteers as well as participants.

While I don't disagree with "bad radiator cap", it will not constrict coolant flow. But you have to wonder where the coolant is going, it's pretty obvious that the vehicle is loosing coolant, I would also check for a blown head gasket. Good luck.

Yes, it's been cancelled, sad to say. I spoke with the organizer; Mr. Green at length today, there was some thought to move it to later in the year i.e. Sept or Oct, but with the low turn-out over the last few years this may be the end of NVTR. I'm totally bummed.

NVTR is entertainment, and most any form of entertainment will cost you. As stated above, it's still cheaper than a weekend in Disneyland. I suppose it comes down to ones priorities. It is highly unlikely that gas will be less expensive next year or the year after that. When the time comes...
