I love how high up that bike rack is on the silver 4 runner with the snorkel. (they are all 4 runners....) The bikes are always the Achilles heel when my friends and I go wheeling, we always want to bring the bikes. (do any good trails on the bikes?)
I assume it is a custom setup with the rear...
back when I had my LJ, I did most summer camping with the soft top. I did about a 10 hour trip and it got pretty annoying with the wind noise/flap. I cant speak to the JK tops. Also security was a huge concern loaded up with all my camp/mountain bike gear. literally anyone can just unzip the...
MN plates... I live way way north, but you better believe I will be the guy randomly waving if I ever see this beauty rollin down the road. Nice truck!....and its a Mega....omg.
I have my CVT awning mounted with 4 bolts. it's really easy to take on and off. i usually have it on all summer unless I am taking a long drive where I want better fuel mileage.
oh yeah, they basically come stock on the trucks if the delivery destination is Midwest-ish. But this extreme cold is tough on everything. I take the gas ride if its not forecasted to come above zero for the daytime high temp just so I don't gel up sitting in the parking lot at work.
I usually hang out in the full size and jeep sections, but I saw the frigid thread and had to check it. I envy your 20 degrees this week

18 years and 195,000 miles difference. The WK2 has one of the best interiors I sat in (other than legit luxury brands)
I looked at Toyotas and the Chevy Colorado, being a Jeep owner for so many years I had to stay loyal. I will see...
my beloved Jeep Grand Cherokee had some problems too close to the departure date of my 18 day trip, so I scrambled and setup my 2002 2500 duramax for the long haul.
hated steel wheels and needed a topper for the trip. This is how I bought it. All stock, extended cab 8 foot bed.

I need to experiment with the 4x4 system and get used to the size compared to the jeep.
unfortunately I know, I have already started putting money aside for the repairs when they come up.
I recently got into a diesel truck from a 6.0 gas (which got terrible gas mileage). My "new" to me truck is a 2002 2500HD, 6.6 duramax with 90k miles. I am pleasantly surprised with the fuel mileage, I have been averaging 20-23 MPG unloaded at 60-70 mph highway driving, high teen mpg in town...
