Well, to revive my own thread I found that high mounted RTT are for the young or at least the flexible. I built a deck in the back and got solar panel, battery, 50 qt (I think) port fridge and am planning new shocks and skid plates. You can go crazy on this stuff and it's fun but so many toys...

i think those would have the same problem on the edges with the overlap. This may put a crimp in my plans, but seeing as I got the topper for $400 it won't hurt as much if I need to make some small modifications... If you dont mind, why did you give up on the RTT?
