    Check Your Battleborn Positive Terminal!

Installed two in 2024, both working fine. Thermal camera shows normal temperatures, even when putting batteries under strain.

EDC: The real world Everyday Carry

Smith and Wesson Shield M&P 45 (IWB CrossBreed holster), and a swiss army knife (Huntsman). Depending on the situation I might carry a couple spare mags, and/or a Leatherman Arc.

Looking for 2000Wh power station recommendation (not Jackery)

Just saw this thread. Curious if this is for a camper or overlanding vehicle? I have a 100ah LiFePO4 kit built into my JLUR (DCDC and 130W solar), and I have a 200ah LiFePO4 kit built into my T@B camper (480W solar). I schlep a 2500W fuel generator just in case, but I hardly ever use it. I...

Thanks all, great information. The manual does say to use an inline fuse, so I'll get that installed soon.

Looking for long term feedback from anyone who is running a smart alternator..........

My 2021 JLUR has a DCDC charger that keeps the 100Ah LiFePO4 battery charged when the engine is on. It also trickles power to my 2024 nuCamp T@B 320S BBC camping trailer over the 7-pin, thanks to the Tow Package, it is a 240 AMP alternator. I need to disconnect the 7-pin when I'm stopped for...

Help me not burn my truck down

#scratcheshead TBH didn't think the 16AWG wire from the VBatt+ to the positive busbar needed a fuse, since it's just for communication. Or I thought. Am I off base? :)

Help me not burn my truck down

I have an MRBF on the positive post of each battery, they're set up in parallel. I have the two batteries connected together rather than connecting each to the busbars...this way I can have a 150A Class T fuse between the 2 battery bank and the busbar...the trick was to get the Class T within 7"...

Biggest fridge for Goose Gear Camp Kitchen 2.3

Thanks, I ended up buying an ARB Fridge Freezer Series II 50 Quart before my trip to Black Bear Pass. My biggest need was space, so far my 100Ah LiFePO4 off grid power kit has kept it running 7 days (camping in one spot). The Bluetooth module is lacking for all but the basic stuff, but...
