Receiver hitch for an FG in USA.

I did the same as Moe. Can't give you a cost as we did it when I was doing the original build. Basically, cut to size, pound to fit, weld in place - works fine. I use a combo Pintle, Ball hitch to cover all my trailers.

How many of us bring dutch oven along?

I did competition cooking for about 15 years. Also special events, some catering, trail rides, and hunting camps. Also got to teach chuck wagon cooking one summer in Germany. Help a friend on his wagon every now and then but I am mostly retired now. Check out americanchuckwagon.org to find an...

How many of us bring dutch oven along?

I would suggest using mineral oil. Vegetable oil or animal fats will turn rancid with time. Mineral oil won't. We used a light coating of mineral oil after cleaning all our cast iron for the past 15 years on our chuck wagon. It is rust free.

How many of us bring dutch oven along?

If I am traveling alone or with just one other it will be a 14" deep. I'll leave the 16" deep and standards at home. If I am planning on making a soup or stew from scratch, I'll take a Potjie, English, or Gypsy pot because of its shape. Since I learned to cook for a minimum of 50, I find...

    Fuso inadequate AC system fixed

Can't say I am too worried about the radiator but I do need to go down and check out the position of the condenser to my bumper. Maybe just getting better airflow to the condenser may improve the cooling issue. I checked the position of the rubber flap and it is about 5 inches behind my box...

    Fuso inadequate AC system fixed

Since the rubber flap appears to be for protecting the condenser from damage by rocks and other debris, how practical do you think replacing it with a mesh one similar to the wire screen around the transmission cooler? Sounds like a winter project for me.

"EXPEDITION" SHOWER MAT ON THE CHEAP

I made a similar mat from scrap cypress that I got from a friend who is a wagon maker. I rubbed it down with mineral oil.

    Pie-hole dough recipe

Would like to help as I have made plenty of pie dough cooking on a chuck wagon, but I am not sure what you are looking for. I did a search for "pie-hole dough" and the only result was back to this thread. If you give us a better idea what you want I am sure you'll have plenty of responses.
