Just wanted to give a heads up. Purchased some 9000xl's for my '03 Avalanche today and found them for under $90 apiece at Rockauto. Changed the oil (Mobil 1), replaced the plugs, and replaced the rear diff fluid. Up next, trans flush, transfer case refill and front diff refill.

Doc Whiskey, thanks for the update. I think I figured it out. It looks like it was taken at the border on Hwy 97 just north of Dorris. I'm hopefully going to be passing through there again next year. I haven't driven that part of 97 since 2003.
