I wonder how difficult it is to get accessories shipped over here?

It appears I am simply out of luck with getting an ARB bumper or rack for my gen 2.5 here in the US. Has anyone purchased products from ARB or Jaos in Australia? Somewhere I heard those vehicles are narrower? Any insight? Help I want to outfit this montero but I cant find decent gear for it!!

Yep, but sadly ARBUSA doesn't have them.... Just curious if freeway ross (original poster) has found something, that is what I was referring to when I asked if he has any news?

This is a response that I received from ARB when I asked about a deluxe bumper: "Hello Roger! Thank you for your interest in our products. Unfortunately, the 1981-2000 Winch Bar for the Montero was discontinued years ago due to lack of demand. We do not do any experimental test fitting here...

Is this too much to ask? This is the perfect look and design that I would like to have. It's an ARB for the Xterra.... dang why why why!!

I went to ARB webiste, no bumper for the 2.5 that I could find.... are you sure? Did ADD make a batch of them at one time? Lastly, thanks for the lead, I will do some forum searches on retrofitting other bumpers!

We live in snow country and I can certainly vouch for the Monties prowess in the snow. It has been a family ski rig for years and few can touch it with good rubber on. We usually just leave it in 4HI on the snow, very very rare to have ever put it in 4Lo, and I have never engaged the rear...

Well, what do you know, our Montero has the winter package with the Rear Differential Lock, how about that. Never even used it!
