Forgot to mention, this is a great knife for keeping handy in a vehicle. It has a safety tip which can be passed under clothing or a seatbelt without risk of cutting a person or sensitive items. It also has a dedicated seatbelt cutter and a glass break on the butt end.

It's a Thule rack. I had zero problems with it in the 12k or so (sometimes very rough) miles it lived on my truck. When the rack companies list their max weight capacities, they are talking about dynamic loads. Statically, they can hold much more.
