    Cricket Camper Trailers

Thanks Joel, Like I said, I'd love to love them - they're quirky and cool, and I applaud their effort to do something different. Their offroad model may be the next great thing. Maybe we'll all love it.

The CrowsWing - Offroad Teardrop Trailer

Reread the thread - again! Nice trailer, but I have a question: On the first post you show an enormous can of cranberries - where did you get it? ;o) Love the trailer - keep posting pics. Cheers, Mark

    Cricket Camper Trailers

I keep trying to like these trailers, but I just can't. It would be great if some ExPo member could get to see one and post about it. All of the reviews are from people that don't seem to know the first thing about camping. So many questions - like: I can't imagine taking a shower in a space...

    Camping in bear country

One of the things that you might consider is that all of the "recommended procedures" for dealing with bears comes, at best, from "things that seem to have sort of worked before" and are at worst made up by some park service bureaucrat tasked with creating a pamphlet on bears. There is no hard...

How about a Overland Quad Section?

We're thinking about a 4 seater to explore the interior of Newfoundland on our next trip up. I'd love to see some talk about overlanding quads. Cheers, Mark

    Sönke's hard-side popup camper

You guys! Oh, for crying out loud! You got me all excited when I saw this thread pop back up - thought there was an update to it! This might be my favorite build of all time. Now what am I gonna do *grumble grumble* Guess I reread it - again! :wings:

    Pimp my trailer ....

Reflective! Absolutely vinyl graphics - Make sure you use the reflective stuff. It's really great at night. Another thing that's great about the vinyl is that you can fix it cheap. You can also change your mind in a couple of years and do another design. My vote: Do-it-yourself zebra stripes...

    Ridgeline as ExPo vehicle?

VTM-4 is pretty cool stuff, HERE is a writeup about it. All I know is that when you get into the marbles, the RL just seems to claw its way around the turns. I just keep my foot in it, and point it where I want to go. If we could put some descent rubber under a RL, we'd take over the world...

    NEW Offroad Casita Project

Right on brother! My family doesn't care much about what they think of us here on ExPo - they just want to go out and have fun. Love the trailer - it's exactly what my wife's been telling me we need. Can't find s good cheap one - still looking. We love Ft. Desoto! Cheers, Mark

    Ridgeline as ExPo vehicle?

Dustboy, Still got ours. It's a DD and runs like a top. It's ready to go from Sarasota, across the TransLab, and back, and the only thing it would need would be an oil change when you got back. It's got stupid amounts of storage space. You can haul a ton of stuff under the rear seats and in...

    Is a Rover for me?

Dude, if you're wondering if you want one - then you probably don't. You have to want one, to put up with the reality of owning one. They are the greatest, and the most wretched, depending on what time it is. If you aren't in love with it... But, who knows, you might fall in love the second...
