Update again. I had Kurt at cruiser outfitters put a load on the line and...yup...dropped to 11 volts. Culprits:
1. cig is 12 gauge wire (for sure) from the battery to a painless 1 batt hot 3 ing hot kit (cig on the batt hot line) however, the cig was body ground, not run back to the battery...
UPDATE: talked to ARB tech, they seem to think its voltage related...the question is why? I checked the battery voltage under load (I can't check the voltage at the fridge under load) and its 12.4V so unless I'm dropping a whole volt from front to back (which doesn't jibe with my static...
At the fridge? I checked the voltage at the cig. socket that the fridge (and only fridge) plugs into and it read 12.45V. I rented a 50 about 6 weeks ago with this same setup with no issues.
Just bought a 50 qt (unpacked it last night) and its not working right. Can someone tell me if they have seen this before? Is there something I am doing wrong or is there a fault with the unit? I've rented 50 qt ARB's half a dozen times and never had this issue, the ambient temps are low and...
Im about to do a trip, and I think I recall seeing that the area I'm headed might be on the list of trips eligible for the grand prize...but...I can't find that list ANYWHERE. Any luck you might have a link? I also need a link to where to get the flag.
Sometime the a journey is defined by where you go, what you see and what you do when you get there, sometimes its defined by what happens along the way. There is nothing wrong with the first type, but while one is typically called a trip the other, well that’s an adventure.
We woke up to the...
Just started contributing here. well, with this post anyway. I have been reading the posts here for a long time, but I figured it was time to start adding in.
It was a risk, but we had good information on the depth and flow and we set up the recovery line in the event of getting stuck. I was a little worried but I've crossed a few Southern Utah rivers and kinda had an idea of what it would be like.
Its true, on that transaction and with current local market prices I think I netted $.30! If only I had more to sell him. On a serious note I offered to give it to him for free because It wasn't that big a deal, but he insisted on paying.
