The previous owner had put on what we'll call a lower end lift. It served it's purpose of getting the Jeep in the air and allowing room for larger tires. It left a lot to be desired in the comfort and handling department though. I've owned enough Jeeps to realize it wasn't the best solution but...

I took off my lift and tires and put stock suspension and some 31's on it. The way it was the missus couldn't use it because she could never get the car seat in the back. It's 4" shorter now and definitely handles a lot better.

I'd be up for a AWD Panda for my daily commute and weekend trips if it gets better gas mileage than my LJ. I think I'll bug the Fiat dealer over in Clearwater and see what they have to say about getting one in.

I'm digging the side cans. I've had a couple times in my Jeep where a few extra gallons would have come in handy. I'd be interested in seeing how they connect to the frame if you wouldn't mind showing it. Keep up the awesome work!

I installed a Novak Adapters cable shifter assembly on my LJ. The stock mess of linkages would always pop out when I needed them. The Novak setup seems pretty solid and seems to shift smoother than the stock setup (I supposed that's inherent of the cable versus linkage).

My 04 LJ automatic, came with cruise and I barely use it. The OD seems to have a fit with it so I tend to leave it off. I don't do a lot of highway driving so it doesn't really affect me. Although on my yearly trip to Sebring it comes in handy for those long stretches of boring road.

When I had my JK I ditched the plastic outer "bumper" and cut off the bent ends of the US spec inner metal bumper and ran it for a year or so. I think it improve the look of the front end immensely. If yours looks like the J8 bumper, I say go for it.

I installed a B&M transmission cooler and a temp gauge to monitor it. I'd been having some issues with it getting too hot and slipping into limp mode. Hopefully this cures it.
