    M1010 Ambulance to Expedition Rig

Looking forward to seeing some details on the ORD lift as you get it installed. I am also planning a 4" ORD lift with the shackle flip in the rear, once the budget allows. I've been sort of back and forth on the lift height that I want to go with, but as you mentioned early on in this thread...

    Another M1010 build. #MemphisBelle

Looking good!!! Awesome to see some more details about the build on here. I should try to be more active on here, IG doesn't really provide the same level of detail or usefulness haha

    M1010 Build. The Rompulance

The rack looks rad! Awesome to see a few more details on here... IG doesn't provide enough detail for fellow M1010 owners haha I'm thinking of doing a similar style rack, but had planned on making it the full width of the box. Reusing the captive nuts from the AC is a very smart idea though.

Brainstorming Camper Ideas We have a few ideas for our new blank canvas, with lots of details still to be worked out. We're planning to lay it out similar to the old Blazer Chalet campers, to make better use of our space. (specifically we like the bench/table area serving double duty as the...

Project AWOL: 1986 CUCV M1010 Ambulance

Camper Box Improvements! After a few years of weekend camping trips we've decided we want a fresh start in the camper box... while the stock layout may be well suited for use an ambulance, we feel we can make better use of the space for our specific needs/wants. This past weekend, with some...

Eventually I'd like to replace it with something similar to what you've done... I like the added bonus of being able to preheat your coolant, very cool.

Sorry for the lack of updates, more to follow. Little cheesy video I put together, more updates to follow.

Project AWOL: 1986 CUCV M1010 Ambulance

If you can find an M1010 in decent condition I would highly recommend it. It's been an awesome rig and has been relatively easy to work on, even for a newbie like myself. It's also a very stout, "over axle'd", truck. I've been posting more regular updates on Instagram as it's a bit easier (I...

The CUCV Build-1986 M1031 Mobile Field Maintenance Assault Vehicle

The floor around where the headlight dimmer switch was mounted rusted through. So the military took out the dimmer switch, wired the headlights so they were always on "high beam" then put a mat over the hole. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The CUCV Build-1986 M1031 Mobile Field Maintenance Assault Vehicle

I think I'll do both! Just have to repair the rusty floor first (and patch the hole left from the headlight dimmer switch which rotted out)

Project AWOL: 1986 CUCV M1010 Ambulance

I took a good look at running the 255/85/r16 tires... I had almost decided on buying a set of BF Goodrich Mud Terrain KM2's in that size but decided to stick with my plan of buying new 17" wheels. Although it seems like most 16" tires are cheaper than the comparable 17" version, there are a a...
