lift block or shackle flip for lifting Toyota truck with camper?

There are kits for both GM and Tundras where the shackle is flipped. The reports are that the trucks ride better than before. I think you could flip the shackle and be fine. Archive Garage has the shackle flip for the tundra.

Are my eyes deceiving me? Advertized as a SR5 but looks like an Off Road

That doesn't look like rust, it looks like red dirt. One bolt is clean, and the rubber stops half way up are red as well. It is even on the bottom of the lift gate arms where they get oily.

    Tundra UTE Flatbed Build Begins

The original bed on your truck has to be the ugliest bed ever to leave the factory. This tray is awesome and much better than the original.

Need a new daily/ epxo rig, looking at sequoia/ gx470

My Tundra may not be a GX, but it has been great. It hasn't let me down off-road. Here we are on the Doll House Rd. Maze district of Canyonlands. All I did suspension wise are add-a-leaves in the rear, and Bilstein 5100s set @ 2" in the front. It has the worn out LSD as a traction device. At the...

    2004 Tundra Adventure Cab - Build/Adventure Thread

I run with stock springs with 150000 miles on them and bilstein 5100's set on 2.5. I have 285 70 17 BFG KOs. I rarely have rubbing, but I have worked hard at getting the alignment right. I have now installed the SPC uppers, and they really allowed me to move my tires forward, and now only in...

    Need Help With SPC UCA

I know that others have used SPC uppers and listed their alignment numbers. I am getting my truck aligned and would like to know where to set my ball joint and what numbers to expect on my 2005 Tundra.

I wonder if Ford has ever had a frame recall.

    F150 vs Tundra....I’ll make a decision tomorrow

I don't know. It is a 2005 DC. I assume it has the larger brakes. I bought it used at 42K from the original owner and it was in great shape.
