    Favorite Tire Repair Kit?

I’m a fan of the safety seal kit. Good quality tooling. Just used 5 plugs and a borrowed slime compressor to get my can am buggy home. Otherwise I’ve used the safety seal kit and the puma 12 volt compressor several times on the road with the camper. Can usually patch and be back in the road...

    Camp Chef Pro 90X.....

Just saw this. I used heavy 2H 3/4 nuts machined to fit inside the legs. I machined with a flange. I then used about 8" of all thread and machined and welded round stock to fit rubber feet from the hardware store. I will try to get a picture next time we have the fifth wheel out.

    Camp Chef Pro 90X.....

I have the big gas grill. Same set up just a different accessory package. I have the two burner griddle, two burner grill, and pizza oven. It lives in the fifth wheel. I have put hundreds of pounds of propane through it. still cooks great. I did machine jack screws in the legs to help...

    Electric Chain Saw???

Gas Stihl. I think the battery saws from Stihl are good and would serve well but are costly. Stihl has an economical homeowner line gas saw that is perfect for this. The bottom end battery saw is $299.00 The MS170 gas saw $179.00. A quart of the Stihl pre mix and motor oil for the bar. Just...

What are you using for a coffee maker and coffee brand when camping/overlanding?

With the fifth wheel I have a percolator. It is a 14 cup but looking to a 30 cup because I always seem to be the hub at breakfast and my friends run the travel mugs. one round and back to the stove. For coffee I go with the Folders black silk. My portable setup with the tent is a home-brew...

    Camp Chef Bulk Propane Pressure

I have a camp chef “big gas grill” three burner 30,000 BTU per burner. I decided I wanted to fuel it from the quick connect on my 5th wheel. The quick connect is regulated at the 30 pound tank in the camper. I bought a hose that eliminated the regulator at the stove and coupled it to the...

Take me to School: Camp Stoves

My 533 is always behind the rear seat of the truck in a flea market Coleman 502 aluminum cook set box. I do think the 502 is a bit more rugged and I would run unleaded in it in a pinch but the Coleman or crown fuel is cleaner. Never had a 2 or 3 burner leak either. As long as the fuel cap is...

Take me to School: Camp Stoves

Another vote for the Coleman. I like the Coleman dual fuel. I have a one, two, and a three burner. I pick based on my need at the time. I always carry the dual fuel 533 and switch between a two and a three burner. I am usually the camp cook. All are yard sale finds and I don't think I have...

    Camp Chair Recommendations

This chair from the local true value has held me up for three years. 6' 6" and 280# to 300# depending on the season and it holds me well. It is comfortable and has mesh in the seat and back so it is cooler. best of all it is between 20.00 and 30.00 dollars.
