On my kids trailer we currently have a 300ah battery, and 700w of solar on the roof. During summer there has always been enough for them to have AC every time they need it, and sleep at night, recharges to 100% during the days. Never any issues. Its using a Velit 2000, and it has been a great unit.

Any chance you could buy a production one for like a Jeep Gladiator or Toyota with a short stub bed, then just have someone make an aluminum filler shroud? Would open up your choices, then only a small attachment shroud would need to be made to bridge the gap.

Sounds like the uniball in the track arm is dry. Sticking, then releasing with a pop as the tension releases during suspension cycling and turning.

Take it to a local hose builder and they can unsolder the end and solder whatever end on it you want. Its cheaper than trying to find a non-existent adapter or buying their proprietary one. Especially when you are in a crunch out camping and need a standardized fitting that you can get at any...
