25% tax on light trucks that are imported into the US. Same reason we don't have the Hilux and build a Tacoma here in the states instead. Trickle down rumors are that the 130 and soft tops will follow in a few years. If we do get a 130 pickup in the US, it'll be quite expensive and limited run.

That's really interesting. I knew our Rover's lowered at highway speeds, but the difference between LR4 and LR3 is new knowledge to me.

That would not be fun and the tow rating is much lower for the PHEV for this exact reason. I depleted the battery on in the RRS I was driving and it was still plenty quick. Not that anyone reading this forum will opt for that motor anyway lol.

Purely anecdotal, but my buddy has two lr3's and has only run regular in them over the (combined) 400,000 miles they have on them. No ill effects. Kinda freaks me out still, and it's generally considered a bad idea, but meh.

Take a look at Volvo, cheaper, safer and nicer than the Japanese equivalents. Also, cheap to fix and very reliable. They're surprisingly capable. Saved my dad's life. Shrugged off an 80 mph impact he XC 70 is the real bargain, but people are always "Ewwww wagon" for some reason.

32" is nice. I remember jacking up our Jeeps back in high school and getting 32's was a big upgrade. Ha!

There's no way that's an 18" wheel. 275/35/R18 works out to just over 25" tire height. Looks more like a 22" wheel. 275/35/R22 would make more sense at 30" overall height.

I'd call your Service Advisor with your VIN#. If they ask, yes, it does make a noise when you start it. The chain's rattle in they morning when it's cold. I doubt yours actually do.

Depending on the build date in 2012, you might already have the updated tensioners and guides. If not, you might be able to get the shop to agree that it's very noisy and needs them done.
