Off-Road Trailer Build - Pump Trailer Transformation

I absolutely love the design on the telescoping rtt rack! You addressed the issues I was bumping up against in really solid ways. The gas struts and rod ends are perfect! Just thinking this through, why did you choose having the pivot on the rod ends be front and back, instead of left and...

    Possibly selling? Confused.

Paying off credit card bills should always be a priority. No, it's not exciting, but if you can profit enough off the LX to clear what you need to pay bills and still have a rig, that sounds ideal.

    Dissent offroad 100 series build!

Any updates on the possibility of sliders for the 100 series?

    Reasonably priced car tool set?

I like this thread. Very helpful. The Dewalt set looks decent for the price. I don't think I can bring myself to buy that much Harbour Freight stuff. That kit is way bigger than I'd need. On the 100 series it seems like I could just about get by with a 10, 12, 14, 17mm wrenches and call it...

    89 Toyota Pickup - Cali -> Alaska -> Cali

That thing looks great! And you're right about Cruiser Outfitters- great choice on buying from Kurt, he's top-notch and a great resource for info. All-Pro Offroad makes some bed-racks, though it doesn't look like they have an off the shelf solution for your '89...

    *Rickashay's 04' Tundra* - A build of Compromises

That looks great! Can you snap a picture of the lower portion of the bumper- like the skid plate area? Does it retain the factory skid or use something else to replace it?

88 FJ62 Rebuild and LSX Swap

Any idea why the pictures from the first half of this thread and most of the other 5.3 swap thread are gone? It sounds like a great project, I'd like to see how far it's come!

Bear, My 200 Series Newbie Build

X2. However, if you head West out of Ennis and into the Tobacco Root range, there is a lot to explore. Not near as dramatic as the Beartooths for sure, but I think more friendly for the 4wd crowd. I have yet to tire of the Tobaccos!

2000 Tundra "catch and release" expo rig

That looks great! Is this the same bumper that Addicted Offroad sells for the Tundra/Sequoia? If so, could you post some additional pictures of how the lower edge of the bumper transitions to the front diff area? I'd like to see how it's covered/protected.

    Seat covers?

Yes, the Dura-Ez-Care is what I got. It's essentially Cordura nylon, but it also has a bit of a cushion-y backing, which I think makes it more comfy and helps it look better on the seat. I noticed the special-ops/tactical package thing was a little confusing too. If you go to the "About...

    Seat covers?

I wound up buying a set of the Ruff Tuff covers from my local truck accessories dealer. I think I paid $325 for the fronts with the "tactical package". I've had them in for about a month now, and they fit well, and feel good on the seat.... I like them well enough that I'm probably going to...
