2024 F-350 custom bed and shell

Got started lofting full-size today. Hard to see but making some headway. Making it weather tight both open and closed is proving tricky.

Just finished up building a utility bed for a 2024 F-350. It was designed with a camper in mind. Starting with some preliminary sketches, to work out dimensions and geometry

Bedded and fastened a couple of L-tracks today

Finished fitting up the door seals, gluing and screwing the hinges, lubing and adjusting the latches, tacking the ears for cable door stops. The end is in sight.

Started on bulb seals for the doors. Mitered the corners on a bandsaw then glued with black contact adhesive. Difficult to cut true and get a good tight joint. After the first one, aborted the mitered joints and opted for lap joints. The boxes have vents and drains to help keep dry.

Getting close to starting a camper build and thinking about this style of design. Anybody build this style? or have any pics of similar design? Thanks in advance

Bed boards caulked

Planks glued down, I'll caulk the joints tomorrow.
