I brought my 96 2.8 liter Pajero shorty over from Japan 3 years ago. It had 34000 km on the clock, I kid you not. It is like a new vehicle. Built like a tank. Love it.

Another islander here. I had a Delica for many years and now I have a Pajero shorty. I would advise you to have the cooling system checked out top to bottom as these 2.8 diesels are prone to overheat and crack the head. A pyrometer install gave me piece of mind. Other than that these things are...
