9MPG towing. I am hoping I can squeeze a mile or two more when I time the injector pump. I installed a new one, and it may be off. I ordered the tool last week. hope it will be here soon
Its a ball joint 60 .
BTW I just drove it from Ohio to Reno Towing my 4Runner.
Boneville Salt Flats are flooded.
His some snow in Nevada, and locked in the hubs for the first time. All smooth. Only got it up to 45mph with the hubs locked.
The final pieces are coming together..
Added 2 outlets in the van. One by the house battery for a maintainer charger, and one by the kitchen. Maybe a heater, or charging laptop.
New injector pump
Modified wrenches to remove the pump
And the final piece. New front driveshaft.

I decided not to use the stock shifter for a few reasons. First mine was broken. They do fail. get gummed up, stiff, corrode and lock up. I can put the shifter where I want it. When I mount it to the floor, I could move it over a little to leave the center more open. I wasnt sure how much the...
All I had was blue paint.
Some foam tape under to help seal it
Snuck it under the carpet
Maybe a little long, but it works
And its all together.. If I was to do it again. I would have made it a little smaller base. I don't use half the throw I have. I did take some foam from an old camping...
I got e4od with a cracked case I was going to pull apart, and take the tail shaft out of it to use in mine. But by the time I would have paid for everything and tried to do it my self, it wasnt much more to order a trans from Monster
so far great. noticably firmer shift but not harsh. The pump must be pushing more fluid. it wasnt long before the factory cooler lines started to leak. Had to repair them. Now Im waiting for a injector pump from R&D then I hope to head cross country.
I started to work on the shifter. The arm will prob be close to the floor so the seat can spin. Yea the pic is upside down. but thats how it will slide thru the floor
The fiberglass screen wouldnt stay in the corners when I folded them. The foam was $12 screen $10 Then the paint $20.. Plywood and regular paint is cheaper.
I started to make a set of small wall cabnets for my van. $12 foam $20 paint $15 screen. and a few days work so far. Hate them. Im going to quit and go buy some Plywood.
Well they sent me the wrong torque converter, so I had to wait another week.. But I did get some stuff done!
Added some rods to the seat plates, and put some crappy tack welds tot he nuts
Now the seat can come in and out without taking the fuel tank out.
Fuel tank, Tcase and new trans is...
