While the lower ball joint does look the same, the rest of the suspension design - and how the ball joint is loaded - is completely different.
In the Tacoma the spring is attached to the lower control arm - so the lower ball joint is continually in tension supporting the weight of the truck...
Just make sure to check the plies - most of those 16's are going to be E rated only, so will actually be heavier than C rated 15's, and make your washboard ride even worse.

There is a nicer armrest that will bolt on, but the color will be slightly off. It's the armrest from 89-95 SR5 manual window Pickups and 90-95 4Runners with manual windows. It uses the same elbow pad as the power window 4runner/pickup/tacoma and is much softer. They look like this:

I see one with 85K for $575. Its about 300 miles from you, but they would most likely ship it.

The eLockers are 8", so you'll need to find a Tacoma eLocker axle housing or cut all the link brackets off of the 4Runner housing and weld on spring plates(not suggested ).
I figure this is the best place to spread the word for anyone on the west side of Washington State looking for Wildernest parts or is REALLY good at fiberglass repair. The pull your own part section of B&R Auto wrecking in Graham, WA has a rolled Nissan Frontier with a Wildernest still attached...
