    dodge power wagon with hawk?

I am wanting a power wagon for my Hawk Real bad. MPG is around 10. Some guys who have them (with a Hawk) regret their decision. I think that you would be ok with the PW and Air Bags.

Traveling/camping in Mexico with 3 kids??

pinproject - can you elaborate on the differences in expenses? I only ask because I did not think it could get any cheaper than Baja. Also, other than the states that you mentioned - were there any times that you did not feel safe. I am interested in your post because I have not had the time to...

Traveling/camping in Mexico with 3 kids??

I have been to Baja twice for a total of 50 days ... my girl friend tripped and broke her wrist ... wait that was in Arizona the day we were supposed to cross the border. Also I got stung by a sting ray. That really hurt and cost me a 40 dollar emergency bill with pain killers and antibiotics...

Four Wheel Campers- company sold to new owners

Much of this overland stuff is more about looks than it is getting out. Saw a thread which a guy said that he could not afford to take time off to go exploring. Then I clicked on his build thread. No wonder!!!! Hopefully the owners keep the same build strategy - if not there is always ATC.

    A Hawk in the Arctic

Stephan, I use my FWC almost exclusively in BC, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. I estimate about 200 nights thus far. I have taken that camper down some horrendous roads - no issues yet. One 5 week voyage to Baja last year. 75% of my use is in the shoulder seasons - Fall and Spring. During an Elk...

    Best Pop-up

FWC or ATC. FWC has more bling. ATC is a more basic and a little dated for less money. Either one is very durable and I believe they are some of the lightest.

    3-way Fridge Replacement Options?

I have been very luck with my 3 Way - it does need some manipulation like others have said here. Park in the shade, keep it out of the sun etc. I will never say never - but I will likely replace it with another 3 way. My opinion would be to trouble shoot yours and do some home work before you...

    Toilet option in pop-up camper?

I use the PETT with Success and my girl friend is ok with it. Simple, light, and easy to move around. When we are camped for a couple of days we just put it in the shower tent. Mino, Where did you pick up the WAG Bags for a buck?? I am paying twice as much.

FWC Purchase and Camper Prep for Tennessee To Argentina Road Trip

Looking back my fridge in my 2010 Hawk was a little tricky to start when I first got it. We drove around with it for a couple of days. I think the rocking and rolling got it going. I have not had a problem with it since. Something to consider before you spend at least another 800 for a 3 way or...
