Correct me if I'm wrong, but angling the shocks will allow a longer shock. example, but 1st gen dodge rear shocks were dang near straight up an down in the rear. I angled them in at the top and went from 10" to 14" travel shocks. They are postioned like a 2nd or 3rd gen. Wide at the bottom...

I don't see a need to a 18" travel shock on the east coast. What can you run to keep it less intrusive into the bed?

8mpg isn't bad at all with that wind and speed!
This got 9.5mpg pulling in the mountains of PA doing 60-65mph. It weighed in at 19,500lbs. The bed is full of my tools and stuff needed for work.

Any 8 lug wheel will not work. Ford Superdutys from around 1999 and newer is a different metric bolt pattern. And I believe the 2014 or 2015 Chevys changed patterns too. Any 8x6.5" pattern wheel will fit.

I've always wanted to add a powered winch to my starcraft as well. Does yours have the AC on top? Do you trust the winch holding the roof up or do you have a backup?

Cool, real close. I don't know what I am right now. I'm wanting to build a trailer, But I do have a offroad popup trailer. Being a family of four and two large dogs its hard to justify a RTT on a trailer.
