Dumb question about a Goal Zero Lithium 500X and National Luna 50L Legacy Fridge/Freezer

Was this with the refrigerator packed, or empty? That could affect run times. But yeah, the Yeti 500 is really barely enough to run a fridge, without fully charging every day (coming from someone who just bought one). Keep in mind when researching for an upgrade, that all of these solar...

    Male Cigarette Plugs

I think 12v cigarette plugs in general, leave a lot to be desired. If at all possible, try and work your way out of using them all together

    Leaf Spring F-350 suspension help

Good advice. The tires are already at 50 PSI when unloaded, and they're 35/12.5/18s. For now, I think I'm going to buy a good quality track bar drop bracket, and an adjustable track bar and try to get the axle centered properly. It really feels like its binding, and not allowing the springs to...

    Leaf Spring F-350 suspension help

Hello ExPo, I have a 1999 7.3 F-350 that I'm trying to build out to a family truck camper rig. It currently has an unknown 6 inch lift with 35s and drives really rough. I'm looking at options on what is a good suspension brand to go with, to smooth out the ride. I was thinking about keeping the...

It has been upgraded with 37 inch MT Kevlar tires, a rack system to mount your Roof top tent, and awning, and high lift...

Crew cab long bed (8ft) for overlanding??? Is this viable or realistic?

What he said, but I’d also add a Thuren Kit to the list. The overland extreme kit is by far my favorite upgrade! That’s a 37, almost fully dropped out of the wheel well, not bad for a work truck!

Crew cab long bed (8ft) for overlanding??? Is this viable or realistic?

8ft isn’t that bad. I’ve got a 2014 Ram 2500 double cab 8ft bed and most of the time it’s more of a blessing than a curse. I’m in the South West, buts it’s always great to have tons of room in the cab for the family, plus plenty of room for a toolbox, dog crate, dirt bike or whatever I want in...

    M101 toy hauler

Today I mounted our tent, and finished a few odds and ends like replacing the tailgate chains. I also purchased a Dewalt tool box and mounted it on the rack for galley supplies. The plan is to have a table that can fold down in the side of the trailer for cooking and meal prep.

    Buying off of Alibaba?

Look into MDC trailers. They import into the US and I’m pretty sure they’re the same thing as these Chinese trailers

    M101 toy hauler

For the tie downs, I just popped cable around the frame bar and routed them up through the holes in the tub. It was cheap and simple. To keep them from flopping when not in use, I’ll just use some Velcro one wrap. The tail gate chains will be replaced with cable as well, to keep excess noise down.
