Why don't we see more Ford Ranger builds

Ford Performance and ARB made a pretty nice bumper that supports a winch and you can't beat the price at $495! Doesn't support the front parking sensors sadly, but their are plenty of people that have fixed that with a holesaw. Also this bumper can be programmed into the body control module to...

Why don't we see more Ford Ranger builds

This is a huge boon to the Ranger as well. Tons of Bronco owners ditch their factory wheels and some times tires before they even leave the lot. Meaning factory wheel options that have proper load and safety ratings, with different offsets, reasonable weights, and even a few factory beadlock...

Why don't we see more Ford Ranger builds

I have a 2020, so last gen. Rangers 2019 to 2023 are rear leaf springs. Broncos are rear coils. Ranger's 2024+ are rear coils. The rear gear sets are the same on all modern Broncos and 2019 + Rangers, so matching the 4.7 HD front diff gearing is factory supported via Ford Performance Parts catalog.

    Better sleeping pads and mats?

Nemo Roamer is what I currently have. Very comfortable and works well in my rooftop tent as it is one of the brands on the market the has the valve flipped UP! Originally tested a Big Agnes Captain Comfort and that was absolutely amazing with the except of the valves being flipped down 😭

Sadly not much "bolts on" from the Bronco. I've found this out after a year of ownership. However you can use the front differential out of the Bronco for 4.70:1 gearing and a front e-locker. However you do need to have custom CVs made since the Bronco frame is a bit wider to accommodate the V6...

    Jerry Can Camp Wash System

Recently I value engineered a camp wash system based on a product offered by Sandy Cats. This system uses a Scepter jerry can, lithium battery pack, and RV galley water pump. I was previously using a Hart Tools 20v Rinser that I picked up about 4 years ago from Walmart, and while it did a good...

Talk me out of an air pressurized water system...

Here is a simple system that I pieced together that is based on Sandy Cats Trail Wash design. It's simple, modular, and uses easily accessible parts. Jerry Can Camp Wash

    Maverick or Ridgeline? 🤔 I’m stuck…

Love these trucks. My neighbor growing up had one in red and drove the snot out of it for 20 years.

    Maverick or Ridgeline? 🤔 I’m stuck…

Just inserting my own opinion here. You've never stated what height you are trying to stay under or at least I didn't see it. The Maverick Tremor is 69.5".The Honda Ridgeline is 70.8". A 2023 Ford Ranger with a 6 foot bed is 71.5"(Last year the 6 foot bed was made). I may be biased as a Ranger...

Why don't we see more Ford Ranger builds

Nothing rough but got some serious travel time on the Ranger this weekend going from Phoenix to Costa Mesa for the first Expo in SoCal. Put 800 miles on the truck fully loaded while averaging 17.5 mpg, and finally got to spend a few night in the roof top tent!

Thanks for the response! I wound up using an 8' piece of lumber to adjust the height of my rack. Really happy with the results so far. Can't wait to spend some nights in the set up!
