thanks for the info. from the looks of things and my research, these are made for trucks that came with a factory 40/60 or buckets. I have a bench seat which has slightly different mounting locations.
CBI does offer a cb mount on the drivers front for the 1st gen taco.

sounds like this is probably the route i need to take? with a kid and a wife, i dont have time to try to make things work...
looking for some input... i havent found any for the 1st gen tundra. Im actually looking to purchase a driver side only so i can mount a CB antenna to it.
another possible question is.. is the bolt pattern of the hood hinge similar to a tacoma or a 2gen tundra? maybe one of those applications...
update:
I ending up buying a MasterFlow MF1050 from pepboys. I got it from their eBay store and it was right at 50 bucks shipped.

my driver's front tire was a little low, turns out it was at...
for what its worth, the MV-50 (aka MF-1050) has some decent reviews from the offroad community. Id probably give this thing a chance before harbor freight.

looking to get a tire inflator (air compressor) for the very few time i go offroad. unfortunately, it seems like ive been going once a year. so i dont really need anything that will be permanently mounted, just a compressor that will air me back up. im running 265/70/17 BFG KOs. not a huge tire...
do you have an idea of your EGTs or a/f ratio when youre climbing?
you might be running a tad lean. running lean makes the EGTs shoot up, and thus a warmer running engine. just wondering. something else to consider.
looks awesome but i would think that if the stainless braid is touching the grille, it will start to eat through it. my buddy has something similar but his air nozzle is under the body (and above the frame). you have to know were to look. also has it plumbed to the rear of the truck as well.
stock battery group size is 24F. anybody ran a different size (larger) in the factory spot?
btw, im leaning towards the Die Hard Advanced Gold EP-34R Item # 02850733000P Model # 50733
its price is super attractive and CCA 775 shoud be just fine. unfortunately i dont see a reserve capacity...
i dont have any pics with the spacers on (i drove my tacoma today). i will tell you this. the tire sits just outside of the mud flap (just enough to fling tire sauce all over the place).
as far as alignment goes, i have been going to mom and pop alignment shops for my trucks and its been...
