I was up from south Orange County with my son and his scout troop near Ridgecrest, CA and got the opportunity to slip away by myself for awhile to explore the El Paso Mountains. It's fun to wonder where a road goes and actually be able to find out. Craig

Met up with Southern California Land Rover at Hungry Valley SVRA. After taking a stinky mud bath in the practice area (the kids demanded it ;)) family and I ran with a group of nine Rovers out Freeman Canyon.

In the case of the ugly 4Runner I believe most the Japanese manufacturers have their design studios in Southern California. Of course the checks get written across the Pacific. If it looked like a LC Troopy I'd buy one.
