Also replacing all the shocks and steering components, ball joints and joints with new. It’s taking me forever and I have had to overcome some challenges I had not anticipated but I am slowly getting it all done. I strongly recommend any one who does their own work purchase a tool to keep in...

2010 Dodge Cummins 3/4 Ton Crew Cab

Well the truck is getting a complete going through and refresh with several updates and upgrades as well. Been very difficult and slow progress but it’s all going to be worth it in the end. 70,000 Kms on the hub kit and they were due for a repack by my standards but no wearing was visible. I...

    Unimog U1300L Espar D5 install.

Well we got it in on Saturday and within 45 mins or so if run time the engine temp was up to 80deg. We were fortunate that the fuel tank had an extra fuel draw, which I suspect was for a FM1 shelter as some point. The Espar check valve also made it much easier to complete. About 6 hours...

    Unimog U1300L Espar D5 install.

I will be helping a friend this weekend install an Espar D5 heater in his truck. I tried to search online to find some helpful information but was surprised to find very little. I thought I would create my own record to assist others in the future if needed. After review of the Espar...

Thanks for the input. IR lights look like they are all still present but not sure. Not really a requirement. What fuction is the push button for the winch? Is it an override? I have not had a chance to play with it yet.

I thought I recognized the fab work. Then I saw the name. Awesome work Mark as always may need to touch base with again and maybe Rob too. May have a U1300L coming soon which will be in need of a camper conversion. I will be following the progress. Jay.

20k hitch below factory. Had to clearance the 5" exhaust a bit because it would rattle in reverse. . This was last trips average mileage while towing the M101a2. And how it sits now minus the light just added to rear to help when backing in the trailers at night.

I forgot that I broke the factory trailer hitch during one trip which resulted in another upgrade. I lost all faith in the "bumper bar" that call a hitch.
