Good morning all,
If anyone is interested, with a bit of reluctance my ambulance is up for sale. I don't have time for it anymore and I don't want it to rot away! If anyone is interested, send me a PM.
Motorman, could you please post the numbers for your front axle and transfer case on that beauty when you get a chance? I still have 4X4 dreams, nightmare, visions occasionally and I may have to confront them one day!

Yup, no issues with tires at all but they don't see a lot of miles. I don't get out nearly as much as I'd like to. I'm hoping this year will be a bit more friendly to long weekends. I've got a few Amazon boxes sitting in the Ambo awaiting my attention but time is in short supply. I've also...
Motorman, I just found and followed your thread! I'm so glad you found such a great rig! I can't wait to see where the build goes!

Nice OZ! I can't wait to see how it turns out! I tried to come up with a functional Murphy bed for my ambo but it never quite worked out. My kitchen pantry is on the passenger side wall. I did not want to lose the storage space in my baby ambo. Are you going to still have some sort of a bench...
Very nice Oz! It's crazy how much a bit of shade here in the desert can make a difference. I've yet to get over to your side of town to see the new rig. One of these days...! Life just keeps getting in the way.
Cheers

Hi Chuck,
Congrats on the new ride! I'm jealous you've got the 466...much better! With the manual transmission and 2 speed rear end you'll be in good shape, very nice. It's certainly a process but it keeps you out of...some...sorts of trouble. I'll help with anything I can and there are plenty...
It was a good time, always better than sitting at the house! Yes, I am fortunate I've got the visor. It really helps!

I made it, at 12:30 in the morning. It was a rough day at work.
The truck ran great, it was much better than before. The truck barely dropped into 3rd gear and the transmission temp barely went over 180 degrees climbing the largest hills. It was almost like a new truck. I gained between 8-10 MPH...
If the winds are in my favor.....I may finally be camping this weekend. One more good whack at it before the snow flies in the higher elevations of AZ!
It will be the first run up the mountain with the newly refurbished transmission. Minus several hundred lbs of extra weight in the form of the...
