Now that it is cold here, I am in the process of making a couple of videos with some music.

Thank you. Jethro was sold last month and was shipped off to the east coast for new adventures. Slowly but surely I’m adding stories to my website about the trip. Check it out. Normal Fam

Thank you! I'd love to do a trip on dirt bikes when the kids are older. Hopefully they'll want to do that kind of stuff when they are old enough to have some independence. If I'm really lucky, they take me on an adventure someday...

I've asked this in the past but with new members and all, do any of you drive stock rigs?

Stock with BFG's I understand the build thing though, my Suburban is way overbuilt. Stock LX trip report

I hope you enjoyed the photos, and that they may inspire you to go explore. Even if you have kids, don't want to camp, and don't have a dedicated expedition rig, you can get out there and see a lot of things! Thanks for looking, and thank you for all of your trip reports that inspired us to...

At Rainier we hiked up ~1,800 ft. and the kids played in the snow. We also checked out the Grove of the Patriarchs, where the kids found a fallen tree that doubled as a slide. Another good lunch spot. The kids played in the Mud Fork of the Cowlitz River. They reported that the mud felt...

Continuing north after a couple of nights in Yachats we stopped to see Newport, and Yaquina Head Lighthouse For the next couple of nights we stayed in an Airbnb near Arch Cape at Falcon Cove. The kids quickly named it death beach, due to the gloomy sky combined with the grey and black rocks...

The fog slowed their roll a little. Just a little though. In California, we knew we would not be taking full days of gravel or dirt anymore, and the desert was behind us, so I left the 5 gallon water can behind, and repacked since we shouldn't need recovery gear or tools anymore. Since the...

From Crater Lake we headed to a Airbnb on the CA, OR border for a few nights to relax by the ocean and go see the redwoods. We know that the Pacific Ocean is cold, but the kids forgot, and needed to see again. Redwoods

The next day's drive from Frenchglen to Crater Lake via Burns, OR was pretty boring. As we got closer, it got better though with snow capped mountains in the distance And then we got there. Just amazing! We stopped in the lodge to see if they had any cancellations. When we were planning...

Heading up the mountain we found a nice spot for lunch with some snow for the kids to play in. Hiking up to the peak of Steens gives a good view of Wildhorse Lake We had to make sure we got to Frenchglen by 6 for dinner. They like to be prompt. We made friends with fellow guests...

Definitely do not want to soak in this one! When we got back to the hotel, the kids found a friend and built a condo for a lizard they found. The sunset was pretty amazing In the morning we waited around for the workers to show up and open for breakfast. They kind of do things...

Just because I'm immature. As we approached Winnamucca, we could once again see smoke from a wildfire. It was the Martin Fire, and was at ~10k acres. In the morning we headed towards Fields Station, with a detour to Paradise Valley. When Alli checked her radar app it showed that the Martin...
