    Post your Mitsubishi Pajero Pics

I've never considered 35s for my truck, but lately the 33s are looking a little small. Nice truck, Snare.

    Stereo Upgrade Issues...

I'd be interested in the iPhone hookup in the stock deck, as that's why I replaced it. I'm a capable solderer. What about the reduced output of the speakers? Are there some that work better than others? These are Bostons.

    Stereo Upgrade Issues...

Hello, Recently upgrade the front door speakers in my Gen 2.5 w/infinity sound. As like other threads here, I bearly got sound of them. These are 4ohm speakers and regardless of polarity, they sound roughly the same. I then put in a new Sony deck with the correct Metra adapter to allow me to...

    Gen 3 and tire noise

I have the new Falken AT3 in 275/70/18 format on my UZJ100 Cruiser. Been running them for about four months. I actually really like them. I notice no drone, plus they're pretty aggressive looking for an AT tire. They performed great in all of the snow and rain we had this winter and they're...

    Clunking/CV joint noise...

Yep, Looking at the diagram, it appears that number four is MIA on both sides. Now, to find them.

    Clunking/CV joint noise...

I didn't do the last set, so I worked with what was there. There was the flat nut that to torque agai st the bearing, above that, the keyed washer with the set screws, and then the snap ring. I'm guessing there's another spacer missing, then, as that play shouldn't be there?

    Clunking/CV joint noise...

Thanks for the reply. I have manual hubs, in good shape. Both snap rings are in, as well. I've considered the needle bearings in the hub might be bad, but it doesn't explain the excessive lateral movement (or so I think) of the CVs. Like I said, my 100-Series Cruiser doesn't do this.

    Clunking/CV joint noise...

Hello All, Been trying to diagnose a clunking noise in the front end of my 2.5. I've replaced the wheel bearings (they were bad). The ball joints have no noticeable play and the rest of the components feel pretty good. One thing I do notice is that when the truck is at rest, I can slide the...

    PS Idler pulley bearing...

Hello All, As I was replacing my radiator the other night, I decided to track down a subtle noise that's been bugging me. I traced it to the PS idler pulley bearing. I just want to verify that it's a standard 6203-2z bearing? My search ended up withthat part number. While I'm typing this...

    The "Az Crew" Thread

Did I see a certain blue Monty heading down Oak Creek Canyon, yesterday, early afternoon? I can't imagine many others looking like your's, Toasty. I was in my UZJ100, so I'm sure you missed me...

So is the gen III really that good

Could you expand on this a little more? I don't have a Gen III, but I do have a Gen 2.5 and a UZJ100. They are quite different in drive and feeling, even though they are closer in design.

    Heater Core...

So, I'll need to pull the center console to get the front part of the console out. Dash is removed. I thought the box needed to be removed, but I've read threads in which people claim to have finagled it out. I really don't see how that can happen. I didn't buy a new core, yet. Wanted to see...

    AC Control Unit: MR360447

Hello, During the process of replacing the heater core, I noticed that my AC control unit (according to Google) is quite melted. I'm assuming that this may be due to a bad fan or water intrusion. Anyone else have this happen? Anyone have a serviceable unit? Thanks in advance...
