They're a bit more lax in France - mine are circa 1965..

All of the places you mention are Mediterranean islands (except the canaries which are off the african coast ) in November they will be mostly be closed for nightlife - except the canaries Beautiful beaches, will be guaranteed all year round!! But a tad too cold to swim

Amazingly it's not bad offroad - the center of gravity is quite low but she's only got a 2 litre 4 cylinder engine that couldn't pull the skin of a rice pudding!
