The ride is smooth, similar to stock. Everything feels balanced when taking turns, sudden stops and going over bumps. They are adjustable not in height but in dampening, I fiddled with it and didn't notice any difference.
The bolt pattern is the same 5on4.5 however it may require additional spacers depending on the backspacing of the rim you are putting on as jeep-n-montero stated.

I think the Rancho ready lift is the best bang for your buck. Come as a complete unit shock and coil so you don't have to take it to a shop to install. I don't recommend spacer lifts they are known to destroy shocks. for 300-350.00 you can't go wrong with them. I have had a set for over a year...
