I'm pretty sure those "rabbit cages" on the hood are to deflect low hanging limbs driving through the bush. I have seen outback racers use something similar. looks like a distraction to me.

any source for the larger springs? I assume I can have them made but I quick internet search came up with stuff for the F250 but not E250?

Just bought this little gem. 1995 e250 coachman. 5.8L low miles. I need to lift it a little and ad some racks but it is pretty much ready to go. Looking forward to the first adventure for sure. It will be nice to spend the night in a non flapping tent or pop up trailer.
