I have a '07 that is bone stock. I regularly tow a trailer with six 16' canoes on it. I would estimate that all together it's around 1500#. I get about 14mpg pulling that trailer up and down the hills of PA.

I know it's a long shot, but does anyone in the northeast/mid-Atlantic region have a trailer that will carry 8-10 canoes that they want to sell?

Nothing wrong with the Specialized you ended up getting. However, my suggestion would have been the Cannondale Scalpel 29er Alloy 4 for around $2300. Have fun out there and enjoy the new bike!

I'm back in PA after living CO for a while. I've been wondering what new Jeep events there are here on the east coast. Sorry I missed this one. I'll have to check it out next year. Looks like a great event.

I ran 33x10.5 BFGs and then 33x10.5 Swampers on my YJ. I loved the 10.5 tires. They did really well on road and still allowed me to use stock Jeep wheels. It also kept me legal with the tires under the flares with those stupid fender flare laws in PA.

Any chance you're coming to PA anytime soon? I just picked up an '07 Unlimited JK and those wheels would look sweet on it.
