Hauling A Motorcycle With A Truck Camper

I haven't revisited this thread for a good while. Since I first started this discussion I have upgraded to a Ram 3500 dually for hauling my camper. When carrying the KLR I have always used a small trailer. However, now that weight is a little less an issue, I am tempted to try a hitch rack.

Hauling A Motorcycle With A Truck Camper

After I buy a smaller bike, I will look into the best way to transport it on a rack. Until then, I'll just trailer my KLR around.

Hauling A Motorcycle With A Truck Camper

I haven't revisited this thread for a while. Some great ideas out there. To this point I have been hauling my bike on a small trailer. The biggest disadvantage with this is not being able to back up very well and therefore having to unload the bike and disconnect the trailer before backing into...

    Host Truck camper feedback

Dean I am one of the few folks on here that owns a Host Truck Camper. Although I typically use my camper more as a base camp than actually overlanding with it, I can probably make a few comments concerning its construction. Jefe is correct in that they are, in my opinion, a very heavy, and well...

Hauling A Motorcycle With A Truck Camper

Stan Thanks for the pictures. They are definitely food for thought. BillTex I am beginning to think you are right. Although I have weighed my setup, and my camper is very well balanced on the truck and only puts about 100lbs on the front axle. I will take some measurements to see how much a...

    Truck Camper as art

I like the rustic interior. I don't think the unit would hold up in the elements however. Thanks for the link!
