Current EarthRoamer LT and LTS models represent a careful compromise between an RV that is comfortable to use and operate on road and off road. An XV-LTS with air ride and MPT81 tires provides a stable, comfortable platform for long distance highway travel. Off road the current XV-LTS can handle...
My 2012 EarthRoamer XV-LT is for sale. EarthRoamer serial number 116 is a 2012 F550 Crew Cab based XV-LT. The EarthRoamer is currently located in the San Juan Islands of Washington State. ER116 currently has 43,000 miles and will be available for delivery on or about July 15, 2014.
Here is a...
I will be glad to lock in a price for ER116 with a mileage adjustment for delivery in May of 2014 (or when ER142 is ready whichever is later). Just need to place a deposit to be held by EarthRoamer pending delivery.
On September 24, 2013, EarthRoamer is scheduled to appear on the premiere episode of Extreme RVs on the Travel Channel.
Show times are:
EST 9PM
CST 9PM

My only experience is driving a 6.7L/MPT81 EarthRoamer. After 34,000 miles I pretty well understand this setup. Running the ER @ 60 mph, flat terrain, sea level and no wind my 17,000 lb my fully load ER LT will typically get around 12.5 mpg. The biggest variable in fuel efficiency is wind. In...
FYI, EarthRoamers, at least since 2008, have been provisioned with 4.88 Ratio Limited Slip Axles straight from Ford. Don't know about earlier years. Most EarthRoamer owners find that gear ratio about perfect for the MPT81's.
ER116 was one of the first 2012's, I actually ordered it in early 2011. It is an LT on a CrewCab, I am going for a SuperCab LTS (stretch - same length bigger camper). The new ER will be one of the last 2014's when it is delivered next year.
The market for recently used EarthRoamers is great...
I placed an order for a 2014 EarthRoamer a few weeks ago and was given a delivery slot at the end of May 2014. So the backlog for EarthRoamers is growing. My current ride, a 2012 EarthRoamer (ER116) will go on the market next Spring.
Late model EarthRoamers have recently been trading at or near...
I had the standard EarthRoamer Michelin tires with air ride on ER64, steer in front and drive in back. I have the MPT81's with air ride on ER116. My experience with Michelin tires on the EarthRoamer was awful. They tract very badly with any grooves or ruts on paved surfaces and when aired up to...
