By far one of my favorite states to visit! My ladyfriends college roommate lives outside of Kallispell, she knew exactly where to take us. We took a helicopter ride over GNF and Canada. No words can describe the beauty we saw! :sombrero:
Sweet setup on both counts!
I had to resort to a trailer, my worn body parts didn't want to deal with a 12'..62lb fishing kayak any longer. Haha :sombrero:
Great report as well as photos! I agree as well..use what you've got. I love gear freaks, I watch CL Daily for those ready to upgrade to the next best thing. Most of the time items are barely or even unused. haha
Funny, I just had a conversation with a guy on a kayak fishing forum about Convict...
Pic #7 in post #31 is the hill I climb heading to my cabin. Several miles once you get to the top. Love that area! Been exploring there for many years.
Best part is I can be chasing trout in Utah or Colorado in about 6 hours or less. :smiley_drive:
Beautiful pics!
Watching part 10..Yikes, like some of those trails aren't white knuckle enuff. Also that bead of water coming down the drivers side at around 5:50 scared the crap outta me. Out of the corner of me eye it looked like a boulder coming at you. :sombrero:
This is going to be an awesome rig!! Following your build closely.
Gathering ideas for a mountain lake fishing rig. Slap a kayak on top and adios! Haha
Awesome pics! Have yet to make it there, on my bucket list. Can't seem to make it further east than NM. Then north as far as BC and west to the coast. But someday!! Thank you for sharing. :sombrero:
Awesome little camper! In 2008 I rented a 23' for a 16 day road trip in Oregon. Nice on the open road, bit of a bear negotiating Portland traffic and parking. Learned real quick about public transportation. Way more than my lady friend and I needed, yours looks perfect for our fishing trips...
